Two Dumbbells Exercises
The ability to workout with one dumbbell in each hand is one of the many benefits of dumbbell training. Exercising with a barbell where you require both arms to support the barbell limits the number of exercises you can perform. Two dumbbells exercises can be used in place of a barbell exercise and you can also alternate lifting the dumbbell with your arms as well.
Here are some dumbbell workouts that require the use of two dumbbells that you can do in place of a barbell exercise:
- Dumbbell bench press
- Dumbbell shoulder press
- Dumbbell snatch
- Dumbbell curls
- Dumbbell triceps extension
- Bent over dumbbell rows
Exercises such as the shoulder press, curls and bent over rows can be done in an alternating fashion, which adds variety to your workouts. As you perform alternating exercises, you have the ability to focus on one dumbbell while lifting the weight and you’ll find that you can probably handle a heavier load. Try it out!
