Spartan Sports Dumbbell
The spartan sports dumbbell is an adjustable dumbbell set that is based on a spin-lock system. The adjustable dumbbell set from Spartan comes with 40lbs of weights, and a strong, polyethylene case for convenient storage. Although changing weight on the Spartan sport is not as fast compared to quick change dumbbells like the PowerBlocks or Bowflex Select Tech, they are easy to store and can be used as travel dumbbells.
The spin lock dumbbell system work by adding weight plates to the sides of the dumbbell handles, and they are secured by screwing on a collar. This takes significantly more time to change than quick change adjustable dumbbells, which only requires a change of a pin or a turn of a knob.
Weight plates can be purchased and added onto the Spartan dumbbells, however, with the carrying case, this dumbbell set is best suited for traveling purposes. You can easily carry it around wherever you go, and with dumbbells, you can exercise your entire body while you’re on the road.
