Powerblock Elite 5-90

The powerblock elite 5-90 replaces 28 pairs or 2565lbs of traditional fixed weight dumbbells while only taking up very minimal space. The elite version of the powerblock dumbbells can be upgraded to 130lbs/dumbbell with the addition of the big block add-on kit. The elite set from powerblock allows you to adjust the weight from 5-90 lbs in 5lbs increments.

Unlike spin-lock dumbbells, powerblocks allow you to change the weight very quickly with an adjustment of a weight pin. With spin-lock dumbbells, it is slow to adjust the weight because the weight plates need to be taken off or placed back onto the dumbbell bar. This takes time away from your exercise, and you can end up getting a less effective workout because you’re spending time changing the weight on the dumbbells. Also, the locking collars are notorious for coming loose, which can be a hazard to you when you’re working out with dumbbells. The Powerblocks do not suffer from these problems.
