The Ironmaster dumbbells also have a proprietary stand. Just like the bowflex dumbbells, the platform supports the weight plates. Fortunately, the stand comes with the adjustable dumbbell set, so you don’t have to spend money to buy extra equipment.

The Powerblock dumbbells can be placed on the floor, and it can function without a stand. There is an optional powerblock stand available for those who prefer to have the dumbbells placed at waist level for easy access.
