Dumbbell Chest Workout: Giant Sets

Giant sets for your dumbbell chest workouts is extremely demanding and takes a lot of concentration, however, you will get a huge pump in your chest, and you’ll experience more growth. You can combine multiple chest building dumbbell exercises into one giant set for an intense workout.

For example, let’s use four chest exercises: incline, flat and decline dumbbell bench press, and the flat dumbbell flies. Performing these exercises in a giant set fashion, what you would do is first set up the bench(es) to the incline position, and have your dumbbells ready. Start off with the incline press, and after you reached your designated number of reps, move onto the flat dumbbell bench press right away with no rest. Continue this sequence making sure that there are no rest in-between exercises. Keep in mind that as you move from one exercise to the next, you’ll have to lower the weight of the dumbbell you normally use.

Perform 3-4 total sets, and your chest muscles will be screaming at you. If you’ve been experiencing a lack of improvement from your chest workouts, try using giant sets to stimulate your chest muscles to grow.
