Chest Building Dumbbell Exercises
To develop huge, well defined pectoral muscles, you need to select the right chest building dumbbell exercises. And as you probably know, training with free weights is the best way to build strength and muscle mass. Here are a few dumbbell chest exercises you can do to construct pecs just like Arnold:
Dumbbell Bench Presses
The dumbbell bench press is the bread and butter of all mass building chest exercises using dumbbells. This exercise can be performed in a flat, incline and declined position. Vary the inclination of the weight bench, and keep the dumbbell weights heavy. Also, for safety reasons and the ability to do forced reps, always have a training partner to spot you during the exercise.
Dumbbell Flies
The dumbbell flies can be performed on a flat, incline or decline bench as well. A key to this exercise is to keep your elbows at a fixed angle at all times. The straighter your arms, the more difficult the exercise is going to be.
These two fundamental exercises for the chest are key to building a massive chest. Be sure to keep control of the dumbbells and use a heavy weight. Perform the dumbbell bench press before the flies as well.
