Bowflex Dumbells
The popular Nautilus Bowflex dumbells are expensive, ranging from $300-$500 per set. Although they replace a multitude of regular dumbbells, that’s still a big chunk of change nonetheless. The optional dumbbell stand is an additional cost of about $150. Combined with the shipping costs, the Bowflex dumbbells along with the SelectTech dumbbell stand can be quite an investment.
On a positive note, having many fixed weight dumbbells can be just as expensive, and it requires more space than the Bowflex adjustable dumbell. If you’re thinking about a spin-lock dumbbell set (the one that require you to add and remove weight plates to the dumbbell handles), you can expect to spend time adjusting the weight of the dumbell, which can interfere with the flow of your workout. The stand is optional, so it is not required for you to workout with the Bowflex Selectech dumbells.
Shipping costs for these dumbbells, depending on the merchant, range in price. But there are many fitness equipment merchants that offer free shipping, even on the Bowflex adjustable dumbbells.
